Came from Montreal for the festival, best Haitian food i’ve had and I had to leave the city full of Haitian restaurants to get it. Will definitely come back when I’m in town.

My partner and I chose this restaurant by chance; neither of us had had Haitian food before so decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did. The photos you see online of the food(including my own) don't do this place justice. Our entree was a homemade soup (reminded me of minestrone soup but with pumpkin as the base instead of tomato). It felt like a warm hug. My main course was the Creole chicken, plantain and rice with beans. The chicken was fall off the bone, melt in your mouth deliciousness. The plantain had a cabbage and red pepper (not spicy) topping and was the best plantain I have had. The rice was fluffy and flavourful. To drink I had a mango juice and my partner had the Haitian Prestige beer. For dessert I had a slice of rum raisin cake(they were very busy earlier in the day so were out of the pistachio cake). All of it combined with the wonderful hospitality of Sandy (the owner) and our server Naïki, along with the eclectic decor that made me feel like I was having dinner at my grandma's house, made this the best dine-in experience I have had. If you are ever around Saint-Tite or Herouxville, please stop in for a meal. You will not be disappointed. Be aware that parking is very limited in the area but that isn't an issue with the restaurant itself but the nature of the town it would seem. My only recommendation for the restaurant would be to include a 2nd side with the main course rather than have it only available to purchase seperately, to provide a bit more value, even if the portion size is smaller than purchasing seperately. I paid extra for the plantain as the main meal only came with the rice and chicken.
